Reintegration
One of the most common symptoms of addiction is isolation, either physically, emotionally or both. At AddictionCounselling.org we understand the importance of building and maintaining a support network or simply reconnecting with family and friends. The relational and interpersonal aspects of therapy can aid this process and may also result in richer, more wholesome relationships, that have often suffered or even been missing completely as a result of the addiction process.

REFERRALS
For many individuals, the first step toward recovery is acknowledging their personal struggle with substances or behaviours. The next step is finding the support and treatment that can help restore their overall health, well-being and happiness. This support can come in many forms. Counselling has been shown to be a central part of that as well as accessing mutual aid groups, residential detox or rehab. We can provide this support through consultations, referrals and ongoing counselling sessions. We have links to addiction specialist psychiatrists, residential treatment centres and mutual aid groups in different parts of the UK. If we feel you would benefit from other services we will not hesitate to provide links and liaise with other organisations on your behalf, with your consent.
